Applications include: 1990-1997 3.0L LX engines (SN 0C856599  0K999999) 1998 & up 3.0L carbureted & MC 3.0 MPI (0L010042 & up). Quicksilver Value Series Longblock 4 Cylinder 3.0 Liter, 181 Inline-4 (Left-Hand Standard Rotation) 100% New Content Quicksilver Engine features: cast iron block, large fillet radii crankshaft, Tri-metal bearings, 9.3:1 hypereutectic pistons, and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Quicksilver cylinder head feature: hardened seats, screw in studs, Black-X valves & an exclusive Quicksilver combustion chamber allowing 4 deg BTDC base timing. Content includes harmonic balancer, oil pan, & valve cover. Compatible with front or side engine mounts. Pilot bore machined into crankshaft to accept dealer installed Volvo couplers. No provision for cylinder head mounted fuel injectors.
