Tohatsu's 5 hp Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Sail Pro long shaft outboard is specifically designed for use on sailboats, and includes a high thrust prop and 12V alternator.  With this powerful, innovative outboard, sailors no longer need to carry gasoline on board. The 5 hp LPG comes equipped with a fuel line that will connect to any standard propane tank and will run for 5 hours WOT on a single 11lb propane tank.  Tohatsu's high-performance, innovative LPG model offers easy starting, quieter operation and nearly no maintenance on fuel-related components. This fuel-efficient model will run for a full 5 hours WOT on a single 11lb propane tank.  The new MFS5DLPGSPROL-SAIL PRO also comes equipped with the newly designed top and bottom cowls based on Tohatsu Design Philosophy for Marine Products, 3-way storage positions without worrying about oil spill, ultra-low emission, EPA and CARB 3-Star rating approved, and the newly designed Tohatsu unique front and back carrying handles for easier transportation.
