Brad Strand 

Brad is one of three partnered at Racine Riverside Marine. He is the president and sales manager of the company. Being in the marine business for over 30 years, Brad has worked from washing and sanding bottoms to being a friendly and welcoming face for the company. Since he has been the sales manager for his entire time with the marina, he has an abundance of knowledge about the boating industry. When it comes to questions or concerns about your new or old Hunter, he can certainly help you out!  Brad is at the Marina regularly, the marina is his pride and joy. When Brad isn't at Racine Riverside Marine, he enjoys spending time with his family. He has a wife of many years and two beautiful children; Brent 14 and Brooke 12. Boating and snowmobiling are activities he and his family love to experience together.

Mark Monroe

Mark Hetzel 

Mark is one of the three owner's of Racine Riverside Marine. He has been partnered with Mark Monroe and Brad Strand for over thirty years. This industry gives him great pleasure. Mark is one of the many Mark's here at Racine Riverside Marine. In order to not confuse him with the others, he has gained the name Hetz. Mark (or Hetz) is often found working hand in hand with Mark Monroe in the yard. When he isn't working to launch or haul out boats with his business partner, he is busy rigging boats with top of the line sailing gear. Mark has three teenage boys who keep him on his toes.  Mark is quite active and has a tremendous amount of energy! In his spare time you will find him embarking on invigorating 50 miles bike rides and racing star boats with his friends.

Marc Elsmo  (Service Manager)

Marc Elsmo is the service manager at Racine Riverside Marine and has been with the company for the past eleven years. He is the man in charge when it comes to your sail boat ailments. Marc is highly qualified in many areas in the boating industry. Looking for a certified Garmin, Raymarine, Yanmar or Marine Electronics Installer? Marc is the man to call. He or his crew will be fast on the job honored by a qualified certification. Marc has been sailing for many years. He has frequented Racine Yacht Club races of many kinds and enjoys the regular Wednesday night sailboat race. He has been married for thirty years to JoAnne Elsmo and has two children who are now grown and well on their way to being accomplished.

Scott Monroe   (Assistant Service Manager )

Scott Monroe has been in the sailing world since he was a twinkle in his father's eye;) Growing up with parents who were avid sailors, Scott himself grew to enjoy the beauty sailing had to offer. He frequented sailing classes at the Racine Yacht Club and soon followed by instructing his peers. As soon as Scott graduated high school, he had business in mind. He gained his associates degree in business management and followed by attending the Landing School in Kennebunkport, ME to become a marine systems technician. He has worked eight plus years with us at Racine Riverside as a marine service technician  and has just recently become the assistant service manager. His wife Jeana is the administrative assistant at RRM. They have two lovely children and two fabulous dogs. When Scott is not at the marina or with his family, he can be found outdoors. He enjoys sailboat racing and outdoor sports.

Lynn Monroe   (Store Manager)

Lynn Monroe is the wife of Mark Monroe. Thus she has been an active part of the marina for thirty some years. She has been working at Racine Riverside Marine since May of 1999. As office manager, she has many duties to perform.  Documenting customer information, purchasing/ordering and payroll are just a few of the many jobs on her plate. When Lynn is not at Racine Riverside Marine, she is busy holding down the Monroe household and working at Unico Inc. Lynn has one son, Scott, who is the assistant service manager at Racine Riverside Marine. Her two beautiful grandchildren; named Max and Ashley, take up a great deal of her quality time. She deeply enjoys their company. Sailing has been a part of Lynn’s world since 1973. She used to be an active sailboat racer competing on such boats as a J24. The Racine Yacht Club and the Racine Riverside Marine are two places you are likely to run into Lynn. She considers many at Racine Riverside family and the others great friends.

Steve Paulson   (Salesman)

Steve has been in the sales business for over thirty years. He takes great pleasure in helping others and working with people. Thus, the sales industry works perfectly for him. Steve has been working at Racine Riverside Marine as a boat salesman for around seven years now. He has sold over a hundred and fifty boats with us. Steve has a wife of 12 years and one grown son. He values his time with his wife and is with her every free second. They are members of Racine Yacht Club and boat owners themselves. When Steve is not active selling boats or hanging with the family, he enjoys traveling, taking random bike rides, hanging with friends, and skiing. Steve is members of both the Power Squadron and Hunter Association.

John Koktowski   (Salesman)

John is working on forty years in the sales industry. Helping consumers find and buy the boat of their dreams is one of John's favorite things to do. Fantastic customer service is important to him, thus, he is consistently here to help when a salesman is needed. You will often find John here on weekends..."whatever it takes to get the job done" he says. Since 2003 John has been working with our Racine Riverside customers. John has a wonderful wife and has been married for 34 years. He has two children, a grandson (who he adores), and a splendid cat. When John is not here helping out; he enjoys power boating, hunting, fishing, and camping in Door County. Family is very important to him... his family is often by his side.

Jeana Monroe   (Administrative Assistant)

Jeana Monroe is a Racine Riverside administrative assistant. She works side by side with her mother-in-law Lynn, the office manager. Jeana graduated from Herzing University with a health science degree and is well on her way to an associate’s degree for business management. Being offered a full time position at Racine Riverside, she has chosen to work as a team with her family to make the marina the best it can be. She works diligently at updating the Racine Riverside Marine web page and handles a fair amount of other clerical and organizational duties for the service department. When not at the marina, Jeana coaches soccer, enjoys a morning jog/walk, is fond of outdoor sports and of course...enjoys spending time with her family! Jeana is a Spokespearson for The Choking Game due to the her recent loss of her 15 year old son December 4, 2013. Having 2 surviving children, a husband, a full time job, a life mission and two dogs; she is quite busy.

Randy Balha   (Fiberglass and Boat Technician)

Randy has been with Racine Riverside Marine for around 8 years now. He has been working tiresomely at fiberglass repairs throughout his time here. Though fiberglass repair is his specialty, you will often find Randy doing various boating repairs when an extra hand is needed. Randy is a self proclaimed boat lover and truly enjoys his job. He has two grown children whom have blessed him with 2 wonderful grandchildren. When Randy is not working here at the marina, he takes great pleasure in the fast life. Boats, bikes, and ...well as he puts it "babes" are his favorite past time.

Bill Paton (BUZZ)   (Boat Technician)

 Bill is known as Buzz to all at Racine Riverside Marine. He has been a wonderful boat technician for around 4 years. Bill (Buzz) has an array of yard duties. He is likely to be on your boat assembling ones mast when needed. A specialty of his is wood refinishing; he is probable to have a hand in the assortment of duties required for maintenance. Bill has a girl friend of 7 years who is dear to his heart. Combined he and she have five grown children and ten grandchildren. He is a boat owner himself. He enjoys being at home with his family, caring for his yard and home, and the magnificence nature has to offer.

Chris Theime    (Yard & Boat Technician)

Chris has been working at Racine Riverside Marine for eight years. He has been a devoted employee and truly gets pleasure from working with the Racine Riverside Marine crew. He has bonded with the guys over the years and thinks of many here like family. Chris is a yard and boat technician and has an assortment of jobs at the marina. Such jobs include haul out help, buffer and sander, bottom painter... and the list goes on. When he isn't busy working, he is home living the family life with his girl friend of eight years and his four year old son. When he gets a free moment you will find him taking a leisurely bike ride or fishing on Lake Michigan.

Ryan  Hansen   (Engine Mechanic)

Ryan is new to Racine Riverside Marine as of this spring. He is doing quite well with us and is here to help with any engine problem that may arise. He works long hard hours to assure that our customers are happy. Being a hands-on engine mechanic, Ryan has seen many engine problems and has many solutions! He has been married for many years now. He has two teenagers, a boy and a girl. When not working, he enjoys power boating, spending time with the family, and watching sports.
